GREENING THE ECONOMY AND GREENING PUBLIC SERVICES
Westminster Seminar — Monday 16 April 2012
CPPS in planning to run a seminar on Greening the Economy and Greening Public Services, the programme for which we have put together in discussion with Peter Unwin, DG at Defra.
The day is being chaired by Pam Warhurst, Chair of the Forestry Commission — who is a member of the CPPS Advisory Council, chaired by Lord Norman Warner and Craig Whittaker MP (who have recently taken over from Lord Toby Harris and Graham Mather).
We hope that this seminar will bring together key players from across sectors and across boundaries, and will focus on the major policy challenges for all public, private and third sector bodies concerned with their carbon footprint and how they can become greener organisations.
We hope that you might think that the seminar will make a valuable contribution to both thinking and action for change.
